Half the battle is won. The other just begun.

At last. Akhirnya. Finally. Whatever. Anyway, promos are over!!! Yes ah!! Overall, papers are expected yet doable but tricky. Maths can score A if someone really study and practice hard. Hoping to get A for malay. But if never get can be excused cause cikgu kept going around my class area during the exams. Even classmates agree her presence added our pressure. To make matter worse, she sat 2 sits away from me during paper 2. Felt like asking her "cikgu, boleh duduk jauh-jauh sikit tk? cikgu duduk kt situ lagi up tension saya." Imagine I really said that to her. Hahaha... Plus, chem looks easy and I felt like I could score well. But, I didnt practice past papers and only revised like only 2hrs (paper on tues, revised the night before). So, hoping to get a pass.

Anyway, I've been reflecting on why I've been kan-chiong with promos (maybe due to lack of revision). But, based on class performance and minimal passes for promos, I can promote. But feeling the burning need to get promoted, I was kan-chiong like no one's business. Maybe cause I wanted to achieve the can-be-said 'high' goals I set. So, blame myself if I couldn't achieve it.

Okay.. Get promos out of the way. And that's only half of the battle won. The other half just begun. Yes, its none other than PW and Melayu. To start off with, there's PW till 5.40pm tmr! 5.40pm for God sake! Since its post-promos, everyone was expecting to be dismissed by 12.40pm. ARGH!! If PW is likeable by everyone, we wouldn't be complaining bout the long hours. But, sadly PW is a torturous subject. Who the hell likes PW like seriously?? I bet its none. So, its left with the final lap - WR, OP & I&R. WR & I&R should be managable. OP is like another huge battle for us. Thinking bout OP alone already gives me the creeps. Dah lah need to see that 'Mamat' face for PW. Pls dont let him be our CT next yr; if not I die first. On the other hand, melayu seems fine for me. Should be getting that A for A's and be on par with Reptile. Ahhahhha!!

Anyway, post-promos activities have started on fri since major papers are over by friday. First up was a mini celebration dinner with class. I'm proud to say that 16 out of 19 of classmates came. First time almost 100% attendance. Like usual, ate at cwp's Banquet since its the only place that can accommodate the 16 of us. And, it's full of crap, bitching and laughter over silly small stuffs. Man, I love 'em! Since today was the official day that everyone ended their promos, had a movie outing with classmates again. But, only 9 came which is still okay. Lol. Watched Fame. It's AWESOME!! Felt like dancing along at some point of the movie. Haha. Imagined myself entering such sch. Prolly in music. Instruments are either sax or percussion. Can imagined all the stress that we have to go through seh. Had dinner then which is again full of laughter and crap. It will be disheartening to see anyone of them not get promoted. Pls dont let it happen.

Oh yes.. Went to my aunt's open house (her first in 3 yrs) on 4 oct. I think our yearly complaints and naggings to go her house has finally opened her heart to invite us all. Anyway, the main point was that my uncle has secretly brought along my long-lost only male cousin in the maternal side. Its like what, 2 years since I last saw him in person (blame his dad for remarrying after aunt passed away). Everyone was like asking him loads of questions; common one is "skrg NS eh?". Classic. He said that all he does was play his guitar from 8-5pm. And he still get money from the govt. Baik or what?! When everyone wanted to leave, he was the star of the hour. Everyone wanted to take a pic with him. When everyone were at the carpark ready to leave, I saw that same Mat I saw earlier. He looks like Hendra seriously. The specs, prolly the face, t-shirt. But that Mat drove a bike. Dont really know if Hendra did drive a bike all this while. And that Mat was smoking as well. So, dont know if thats him or not. Hopefully its not.

Okay.. Gonna watch the recorded The Mentalist and whatever crime show I've yet to watch. Then its lalaland. Man, since promos are over, I felt like I've nothing to do. It would be better if Hujan concert was this week and not last year. Saw the clips at youtube and it was AWESOME!! Kinda regretted for not going. If only there's no paper on last thurs, I would have gone. But, never mind. Hoping they're coming again asap. At least also at JB. Dah lah FAITH's plan to come S'pore got cancelled/postponed cause of his last-min knee operation. Nvm, health more important than entertainment. Cant wait for his 2nd album!! And Estranged's coming to SG again. Since I missed them during Baybeats, thought of seeing them during the Nike race on 24 oct. But, I heard their performance was at 7am. 7 freaking am!!! I bet even if I took the earliest train there, no way am I gonna make it. Let's see how..

P.S its 3 freaking weeks till my b'day! You're kidding me right?!

Ok peeps. This is the last post before the promos starts in freaking 2 days. Yes 2 more days. And im starting to feel the pressure. I guess I'm a last min person who only do stuffs last min. Like how I would study for exams/tests only last min. Do homeworks last min. Everything last min lah. So if teachers are bugging students to study like a month or weeks before exams, I think I'll be one who will confirm study last min one. But results gained can be good or bad. It depends on the situation.

Like last yr. I was mugging so-called well ahead, around few weeks till promos started. This time round, I officially started mugging for it on.... I dont know. Yes I've started some studying but thats like studying for tests. To me, its not mugging for exams. Studying for exams is really mugging hard for it. I dont know why I'm not doing so. Maybe the weekly/recent tests made me to revise the topics for various subjects. So, maybe that's where revision has started for me officially.

Let's not be bothered by when I started my revision. Let's focused on how to end it. I only started to make the desired grades to get for promos overall like just now during lunch. When I reflected on it, I asked myself why am I only doing this now? Why not earlier? I guess God still loves me. So, based on my current understanding+tests+assignments, I decided that I could pass all subjects. Provided I really studied well for the next 2 weeks.

GP: lets hope I dont screw both essay and compre. If I continue with current standard, it should leave me with a pass. ML: I shall make sure that I get an A this time round. Mid-yr was a B. So, latest marked assignments with potential high marks should get me an A this time round. CHEM: i hope my recent good grade for chem tests will boost me to get a pass or higher for it. Since chem is on next tues, I shall put off it for the moment since I have the weekends and monday to mug for it. MATHS: just pure practice. I was amused upon receiving the lastest test marks. I swear I didnt even study for it but I got an A for it. Haha. I'm not boasting or whatsoever. I believe I can get a C at least if I really revised those formulas+concepts+practice. ECONS: this is my sole survivor in order to get promoted. Since I'm doing well for econs as compared to history, I guess this is my only chance to get that 6 credit points. With the current good standard I've shown in tests+assignments, I should be getting at least a D/C or higher. HIST: i think i'm dead for history. How to rememeber those events and its significance in 4 days?! Confirm end of CW & rise of max. govt in SEA are coming out. So, I should be focusing on this topics from today onwards.

With that being said, I hope I get promoted. You might say 'Alah confirm you get promoted one'. Well, I've been hearing that since last yr. Even those who are doing good or confirm get promoted one are even panicking. Like me and some classmates even though they're top in whatever subjects. So, here I am panicking away as well. And the fact that both H2 Maths and H2 Hist are on the same day (this friday), classmates are really panicking!!

Before I end, let me wish all 0932ians to get promoted (though I know some are borderline cases and may not make it). And for me to be on full throttle in the coming days and just get it over with.

Oh yes.. I've decided to skip Hujan's concert which is this wednesday!! If exams were to start earlier, I swear I will be going. But, fate has been made. So, I decided to skip it and tells myself that there will be next time. Even if they're having concert in Malaysia, I swear I shall drive up north (if I am eligible & passed by then) and just enjoyed the hell out of me. But, the fact that it's at RP which is damn freaking near for me (30mins walk) just get me annoyed that I'm not going. Eish.. So near yet so far....

Anyway, I'm eyeing on this watch from Adidas Originals. If they can change the strap, I would have changed mine since they're still working. So, this one has the same design as the old one (like stadium design). But the screen is red in colour and it has the stainless steel strap. Cost is $168. Expensive siot but I shall eye for it. Unless some angel decides to buy it for my 18th bday, I shall save for it. And save for tennis shoes too. And laptop batt+charger. And sis's bday present. Oh mine...

Good morning peeps! No idea why I felt a sudden urge to blog when I have arsesignments to do. Tsk tsk tsk..

First and foremost, SELAMAT HARI RAYA to all Muslim peeps! The weird thing is that most people aren't in the mood to raye this yr which I find cool. That includes me too. Somehow, I dont feel the joy to raye. But what is the cause of this problem? Exams? Well, lately hari raya have been around the exam corner. So if this has been going on, shouldn't we be accustomed to that? Having exams during raya? Whatever is the cause of the problem, final word is that I've no mood to raye.

First day of raya was spent mostly on the road. Cause this yr, had to fetch granny in JB and bring her back to SG. The journey to the house supposed to take ard 2hrs max. But, because of traffic jams at JB, it took us 3 hrs to get there siot! My butt was starting to get cramps towards the end. Good thing we arrived close to five cause I was dying to watch Akustika Raya on tv3. FAITH+Aizat+Noh Hujan+Lan ex MUH = madness + gerek giler!! They should seriously collaborate more often cause they're talented people who can prosper the music industry in M'sia. As a Sporean music lover, I find songs from M'sian artistes are quite good. Especially if they're in the indie/rock/pop genres. I think they had enough of the Siti Nurhaliza/Anuar Zain/Ziana Zain era of ballads who have been conquering their industry. Hence, seeing these new genres dominating the mainstream music should be greatly supported. Anyway, journey back to SG also took another 3hrs, making it 6hrs. Time spent on house visit: 4hrs for 2 houses. Conclusion: The journey and ang pows received weren't worth it!

Moving on, looking forward to this sunday for the jalan raya with the maternal side. Confirm someone will be late than the initial time = ending late for jalan raya = sleepy or overslept the next day. I rmbed one yr where we started at 3pm and ended at 3am. Coolio! And confirm chaotic one witht the antics of the aunts and uncles and crazy cousins. Speaking of which, I misses my only-male cousin on the maternal side. Totally lost contact with him ever since his dad remarried after my aunt passed away and aunts&uncles didnt like the various stories we heard bout him. So, I have no idea where he is now; prolly in NS I think.

Okay.. Tuesday was a bad day seriously because of 'Mamat'. The fact that sch starts early this wk means 1.5hrs of first lesson. And that day, it was PW by 'Mamat'. The fact that we had to endure seeing him for 1hr is already a bad thing. What more 1.5hrs of him. If that's not enough, add another 1.5hrs for GP. To make matters worse, he supposedly 'lost' my other 2 assignments when I handed 3 of them together and he only received 1 of it only. Handed 3 at the same time at the same place -> he claimed to have received only 1 -> 'lost' the other 2 -> RIDICULOUS!!! Is he seriously blind or what? Does it makes sense? NO. Bullshit lah he. Now, the probability of me redoing it seems high if he didnt find the other 2 as claimed by him. Dah lah he made us write 500 word letter to explain why we didnt hand in our sept hol hmwrk. He is seriously one crappy&bullshit tcher!! I hope the rumour that he's our form teacher is FALSE. If not, its gonna be a hell of a yr in 2010. I rather switch class or get myself retained. Doubt we could survive the first month of him.

Right... Enough of mentioning 'Mamat'. He just make my blood go upstairs. The sight of his face or hearing his name already makes me bloody pissed off.

On a lighter note, promos is less than 2 weeks away. I have not started my revision yet and I dont know why I'm not freaking out. I should be. As mentioned by my form teacher, its not too late to start revising. For mid-yr, I only started studying the last 3 days before the start of the exams. Results weren't so bad but quite unexpected cause I thought I would fail most subjects. But alhamdullilah I passed all except for h1 chem. Haha. So now, I guess its not too late to start. I just need time and motivation to do so. That means, teachers should STOP giving homework in these 2 weeks (that explains why many refused to do 'Mamat' work which resulted in us writing that letter). Insya allah, I will start revision today or tmr. Sat could be spent on mugging if we're not going visiting.

Oh yes.. Had a fun time reading 'Mamat' tweets just now. Quite surprised cause he protected his tweets all this while. Upon reading all his tweets and replies, I infer that the person with username 'Shesohaha' is his fiancee based on the language and tone used from their tweets to each other. Check it out if you guys want to. I knew that 'Mamat' is one cheeky guy. Even sis agrees. That made my day and gave me motivation to start my spy mission on them. Garfield and Reptile, esp Garfield, should be familiar with my experience in spying. HAHAHA!!!
